Summer is almost over and you want to get to see an amazing waterfall and lake one last time this summer.

Do you like the idea of hiking in the mountains yet don’t want to go alone but instead with a certified hiking guide and like-minded adventurers? Can you currently walk for 5 km, have a good pair of running shoes or hiking boots and a backpack? Well, we have a group event for you!

Meeting at 10 AM at Miner’s Cafe In Nordegg, we will caravan out to the Siffleur Falls trailhead about 30 minutes west via one of the prettiest drives in the province alongside Abraham Lake!

After a quick downhill and trek across a bridge, we traverse a boardwalk that leads to a short uphill then hike a forest path along the canyon to two stunning waterfalls! We will pause here for some photos and there will be time to pull out your lunch and beverage to fuel up before heading back. We will make a short pit stop at Preacher’s Point in Abraham Lake to take in the lake view as well.

If you like pie, you’re in luck!! We will be back in time to head in to Miner’s Cafe to enjoy a piece before driving home (they also sell whole cooked and frozen pies to go).
