Your end of summer ADVENTURE AWAITS you! Join us for a group summit hike up Prairie Mountain on September 14th and let’s earn that 360-degree scenic view with sweat, smiles and determination. Prairie Mountain. (Kananaskis – Near Bragg Creek) 3.5h drive from Edmonton. (Car Pool available) Distance: 8.4 km return • Elevation Gain: 700m • Duration: ~4 hours total (up, down, and view-soaking)
What to Expect: Two scenic breaks for photos, breath-catching, and bonding • Smaller stops for water/snacks/fist bumps • No scrambling or exposure, but a solid uphill grind • Poles recommended for knees and confidence • Souvenir for all hikers!
You will need to be able to walk 5 km at a steady pace to fully enjoy this climb. Training guidelines will be provided to help you get ready for the day.
