Then in 2015 I was diagnosed with Stage 2 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. Through my surgery and chemo therapy, the one thing I kept hearing repeatedly was to exercise, lose weight and eat a healthy diet.  I was scared and didn’t know where to begin.  As I healed from my treatment and waited for my reconstruction surgeries, I began to pay a little more attention to the NO MORE EXCUSES Fitness’ Facebook posts but still I knew I wasn’t ready.  I had a million excuses such as, the kids needed me home, I was too busy, the prosthesis I had to wear was too hot and heavy, and the list goes on and on.
